Amrut Distilleries was founded in 1948, located in Kambipura near the city of Bangalore. Initially known as Amrut Laboratories, it quickly became famous for producing single malt whisky.
Amrut’s unique position for growing barley in the foothills of the Himalayas and maturing the whisky at 3,000ft at Bangalore contributed to the world-famous Single Malt. Due to its tropical conditions, the whisky’s aren’t typically aged very long.
With intense barley and grain nose, Amrut Whisky’s will leave you with a multifaceted finish of honey, apricot and allspice.
