Launceston Distillery
The Launceston Distillery is located in northern Tasmania, Australia. A state rich in history and heritage, with a population who are passionate about creating world-renowned boutique brands. The Distillery is passionate about creating whiskies which honour the best traditions of single malt whisky, without compromising the exquisite essence of northern Tasmania. The Launceston expression uses a range of different oak barrels for maturing.
Their casks range from french oak, ex-tawny, ex-apera, American Oak and ex-bourbon. These oak combinations, alongside the traditional techniques and craftsmanship, as well as the Tasmanian malted barley, is what creates the finest quality single malt whisky, all from a small town in Tasmania, Australia.
