Founded by Michel Couvreur in 1978 in the French region of Burgundy, the Michel Couvreur Distillery offers a range of whiskies both blended and single malt which are diverse in taste and intensity. The Michel Couvreur Distillery values the importance of maturing in casks and as such, is incredibly particular about the casks selected for maturation.
This is reflected in the portfolio of whiskies the distillery produces. The Michel Couvreur is persistently on the lookout for new casks and seeking out new materials such as amphora. This unique method allows them to offer exceptionally diverse products without compromising the aromatics of the expression. Their staple expression, Blossoming Auld Sherried Single Malt is well-sherried with a floral character looming deeper within.
