Two scotch whiskies vs one whisky/ bourbon blend.
The two scotches - both classic whiskies in their own right from week established distilleries. The Ancnoc gives a rich, smooth almost creamy taste with a slightest hint of smoky orange to finish.
The Glenfarclas is another big hitter. Incredibly smooth, delicately smoky with a stunning long finish.
The Barrell Dovetail blend is that perfect mix for those lovers of both whisky and bourbon. The nose is a curious mix of classic whisky with the bourbon sweetness coming through. The taste pens with that rich sweetness, and follow up with a heat and a multitude of layers.
