Tasting notes
Nose
Incredibly sweet aromas of raisins, honey and maple sugar. With time, a little nutmeg, warm cinnamon, ginger and charred oak comes through.
Taste
Less sweet than the nose, with a strong spiciness and grassy malt flavour supported by a punchy oak note. Maple syrup and pears take hold a little later.
Finish
Short in length, this finish is sweet and drying, with a tingly peppered spice, dry oak and charred, tannic flavour prominent on the palate.
