The big brother of Buffalo Trace’s standard Eagle Rare bottling, this dram kicks up the proof to 50.5 % (101 Proof), and the age to at least 17 years – in practice these bottlings are often a little older.
This bottling is a 2002 vintage, and has been made to Buffalo Trace’s low-rye mashbill, producing a traditionally styled, high quality Kentucky Straight Bourbon with tonnes of sweet fruit and rich toffee flavours.
