In a previous life, Aymeric Roborel de Climens was a wine expert working in his Bordeaux hometown with premier wineries to make some of the best wines in the world. In the course of his studies, he discovered the history of French spirits, and decided to refocus his efforts on producing top-notch French whisky.
Now he’s swapped the grape for the grain, creating outstanding French whiskies whilst applying his understanding of terroir and wine casks to the spirit, producing juice that’s distinctively French but a world away from the brandies and wines you might be used to.
