A complex single malt that befits one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.
Inchmurrin, Loch Lomond REGION
Single Malt Scotch
The Inchmurrin 12 year old single malt actually hails from the Loch Lomond distillery, a Highland distillery located just a few miles up the road from Glasgow and close to Scotland’s largest loch.
This 12-year old single malt was relaunched in 2015 with the name Inchmurrin, taken from the Glaelic name for the ‘grassy isle, the largest island in the loch.
Relaunched in 2015, Inchmurrin 12 Year Old is aged in a mixture of casks, including bourbon, refill and recharred wood. Light, grassy and floral. This scotch has been aged in three different hand-selected types of cask, bourbon, refill, and recharred, before being bought together by Loch Lomond’s master distiller, Bill White in a combination only he knows.
This is a non-chill filtered single malt and has a fittingly floral and grassy palate. It is packed full of rich sweetness to but this is offset by huge quantities of fruit that help to give its distinctive and complex flavors.
This whisky is best enjoyed with a dash of water or over ice and it also benefits from being left for a while to breath after opening.

Creamy, sweet, and fruity with mango, pineapple and ripe apples blending with boiled sweets and while chocolate and just a hint of all-spice.
A powerful sweetness with salted caramel, treacle and milk chocolate battling for supremacy with masses of fruits, raisins, grapes, apples, pears, mango, and papaya. Under all this a gentle oak spiciness with hints of cinnamon bring it all together.
Medium and sweet but growing more spicy on the palate.
