Instantly ashy, with sooty peat, dark chocolate and some dried lime rind. Aromas of toffee fudge, sliced mint, and coastal brine introduce this dram.
Thick and full bodied, with flavours of lemon, lime, rich coastal peat smoke, tobacco, wood ash, forest moss and burnt coffee beans. Later, there’s building peppery spice and cinnamon.
Seriously long and lingering, with more lime zest, sea spray, lightly drying oak and toasty peat smoke. A warming, assertive Lagavulin that will appeal to peat-heads.
