The distillery is found tucked just inside the Highland region, on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. The house style is hard to pin down – column and pot stills mean this distillery can produce a wide range of spirit, including some interesting peated drams.
Their single grain, however, tends towards the lighter end of the spectrum. This dram has been aged exclusively in American oak, and possesses a profile of sweet cereals, hay and apples. An excellent introduction to this distillery’s wonderfully varied range.

Waves of honeyed oats and unmalted barley, accompanied by some precise lemon rind and cracked black pepper aromas. Grassy green oak lends complexity and depth.
A light mouthfeel with a fleeting butteriness. There’s a little more fruitiness to be found, with pineapple, apple and peaches making an appearance. Bittersweet oak keeps the sweet grain balanced.
Short and sweet with a freshly cut honeydew melon note emerging. A spritely and almost refreshing dram.
