Something out of the ordinary from Pulteney distillery. This bottling is named after the street that the distillery calls home, Huddart Street in the Highland village of Wick. Unlike the other drams in their range, this juice has been finished in cask that previously held heavily peated whisky, producing a subtly smoked dram.
It is the location as the most northerly distillery on the British mainland by the sea that gives an interesting maritime character in addition to the classic Highlands profile. The Huddart expression has been finished in ex-peated whisky casks to give an extraordinary level of depth and intrigue.

This is a springtime whisky! Juicy green apples and cut grass bring a walk through the orchard feeling, on a backdrop of sweet hay bales and a whiff of smoke from a distant bonfire.
Fresh cut pears from the orchard turn into a baked banana and briny salted honey sweetness.
Herbaceous notes of rosemary and sage, a touch of earthy root vegetables coming from peat. Orchard fruit lingers.
