This is the first Indian single malt whisky from the Radico Khaitan Distillery (previously known as the Rampur distillery, hence the name), which is in Uttar Pradesh to the north of India. The distillery itself dates back to the 1940s, but this is their first single malt to make it to our shores!
Based in the foothills of the Himalayas, Radico Khaitan follow traditional Scottish production methods with the final whisky bottled non-chill filtered.
Made from specially selected barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas. Carefully distilled in small batches and aged in American white oak bourbon barrels. This further cements India’s place as a world class producer.

Insanely tropical fruity, give it time to settle and the more traditional notes arrive, very much at the dried fruits. Raisins and sultanas, baked pears in syrup & cinnamon.
Thick, juicy with some nice dried fruit at first. Then Rum like, with stewed apples, pineapple syrup and berries.
The finish is a burst of pepper, berry and juniper; crisp and satisfying.
