Tasting notes
Nose
Initially, there’s strong aromas of Sherried dried fruits: figs, prunes and dried apricots are followed by some classic Irish pot still grassy grain, flowers, allspice and intense vanilla.
Taste
Exquisitely full bodied, featuring lush flavours of fresh plums and cherries, dark chocolate, more vanilla – here creamy – with some subtle caramelised lemon and orange rind.
Finish
Butterscotch, vanilla bean, drying old oak and intense allspice flavours all linger on this long, opulent finish.
