our tasting notes
Nose
Spectacular nose, very consistent with the Barossa Shiraz ageing. Plums, red lollies, dried cherries and vanilla are all immediately present. With a gentle spiced malt character carrying though toward the end.
Taste
Plum and dark chocolate return with strength on the palate. There's a gentle vanilla spice, but it remains dangerously drinkable. Reminiscent of a Speyside Scotch, but entirely innovated upon.
Finish
The finish is tannic, like a bold shiraz. But dark chocolate and the malt character linger for minutes. The perfect expression of experimental casking.
