Fragrant notes of baked apple, orange zest, vanilla, pears and cacao nibs first greet the drinker, followed by a wave of dessert wine and toasted oak.
A full, buttery mouthfeel delivers notes of crystalised barley, vanilla cream, succulent sweet white grapes, more green apples, slight toffee and tangy citrus for balance.
Surprisingly, some red berries emerge here, with notes of raspberry and cherry popping up on a medium-length finish. The whole show is underpinned by a core of toasted malt.
